Dr. Emily Walkey
I received my undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 2004. I then graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed my pediatric residency training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. I worked in a variety of settings ranging from primary care to the intensive care unit at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. I joined the Lake Country Pediatrics family in June of 2012.
I follow AAP recommendations / guidelines (including immunization administration) but also strive to provide individualized care for my patients and families. I understand that each child is unique, and work in tandem with families to create tailored healthcare plans. In addition to providing quality primary care to children of all ages, my special interests include providing lactation and breastfeeding guidance to new mothers, and management of childhood obesity.
I am married and have three young children. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, cake decorating, and finding treasures at flea markets.
Dr. Walkey is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is licensed without restriction in the state of Wisconsin. She is accepting new pediatric patients of all ages.
