Jamie Christensen, MSN, PNP
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
I attended the university of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to pursue my Master's in Nursing at Marquette immediately after undergrad. I worked at Lake Country Pediatrics, S.C. as an RN during graduate studies and am excited to return as a PNP. I spent a year working as a nurse practitioner in Illinois and then 2.5 years in the inner city of Milwaukee.
I have an interest in health promotion and prevention, especially focusing on nutrition education. I injoy well child checkups and seeing children grow at each visit. I also like the challenges that come with being a health care provider and educating parents about the myths of vaccines and the importance of each and every vaccine.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my nieces and nephews. I enjoy being very active and doing various activities such as tennis, hot yoga, and running with my dog, Bentley. I also love my Wisconsin sports teams (Go Badgers)! I am very excited to return to LCP and am thrilled to be working with such a wonderful team!
