I am a California native proud to be a Wisconsin transplant. I attended Westmont College for undergraduate and University of California San Diego for medical school. I took an extra year and completed my masters in public health at Harvard University prior to my pediatric residency. During my Indiana University I met my wife (and native Wisconsinite) and we promptly moved Wisconsin upon graduation and I proudly support the Green Bay Packers!
I have been a board certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since completing residency in 2013.
My areas of clinical interest include population health, travel medicine, adoption, and complex medical care. I have trained and worked in 5 countries, completed an extra year in critical care training, and strongly believe in preventative medicine. Providing comprehensive evidence based information to families as we discuss care options is vital. Spending time with the families I serve is the best part of my job. I am so glad to be joining a practice with core values of communication and respect which are part of my personal mission in each and every patient encounter.
Outside of clinic I teach at the Medical College of Wisconsin, speak at conferences, and participate in professional organizations.
My wife and I have one child and are outdoor enthusiasts. We have three crazy dogs who we take on hikes and enjoy exploring all Wisconsin trails. We love to travel and have adventures, but also enjoy a solid night of movies on Netflix.
Our core values include the following:
Integrity • Compassionate Care • Communication • Commitment • Teamwork • Respect
These values are held by every member of our staff. Lake Country is our home, and deserves nothing less than the best medical care available. We will do everything in our power to deliver pediatric care in a professional, compassionate manner as your child's primary care doctor.
