Nicole Blohowiak, RN, IBCLC
I’ve had a passion for working with moms and babies since I first started as a NICU RN in 2002 at Aurora Sinai Hospital. Working as a bedside nurse gave me a well rounded experience. I found myself drawn to all the breastfeeding moms and their needs during this critical time in a newborn's life. Over the last 9 years I transitioned from bedside nursing to lactation support.
As a lactation consultant my goal is to help you navigate through all the new beginnings as a mom. I try to listen to what a mom wants, what specific needs she has for herself and her baby, and then individualize a plan together. Breastfeeding support and encouragement is so important as you breastfeed your baby. Each mom has a different lifestyle, family dynamic, previous experience, breast pumping and breastfeeding needs. I am here to help you through this journey.
My husband and I have lived in Oconomowoc for 15 years. Our children have been coming to Lake Country Pediatrics since they were born. I am excited to join their team of professionals. In our free time we visit festivals, travel, camp, and enjoy hiking with our three boys. We attend a lot of baseball, basketball, and football games throughout the year! We love hosting gatherings and bringing friends together.
I look forward to meeting and working with you.
Our core values include the following:
