What a great first month at Lake Country Pediatrics ! It has been a pleasure to meet families with patients of all ages.  Wisconsin is certainly a friendly state.  I have enjoyed getting to know the patients in our practice and hope that I can share a bit about myself.

I was born and raised in the Boston area and attended University of Vermont where I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication science disorders.  While there, I played NCAA division 1 volleyball.  I went on to attend University of Vermont College of Medicine.  I completed my internship and residency at Children’s Hospital in Boston.  During residency I realized that the best part of pediatrics was the continuity of primary care.  I joined a large private group just south of Boston and practiced there for the last 17 years (my first newborns are headed off to college now!)

My husband is an Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon who took a “temporary” position at Aurora Summit in March of 2015 while I worked in Boston and commuted for visits.  We took the opportunity to explore the beauty and recreational opportunities in Lake Country: mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and cross country skiing.  We also enjoyed the Milwaukee music scene! Six months later, temporary became permanent and my job search started.  Just days from signing with another pediatric group, my husband’s partner at work texted me Dr. Moyer’s number and said, “If you want to work with the best, call Lake Country Pediatrics, S.C.”  What great advice!  The rest is history.

I look forward to meeting the patients and families of LCP in the months to come.  I hope to see you out and about in at local activities and events.  In the meantime we are settling in to our Wisconsin home and enjoying everything the Lake Country has to offer.
