Breastfeeding Support
Meet Lactation Consultant Lisa Harris, RN, BSN, IBCLC! Lisa has years of experience and has worked in many diverse settings throughout her career. She brings a gentle, experienced, and guiding hand to your breastfeeding experience, working with you to make bonding with your baby a rewarding and enjoyable.
Schedule a lactation consult in your home! Lisa will work with you to develop your breastfeeding plan and set the goals you wish to achieve. She will help you and your baby reach those goals by giving you the knowledge and encouragement needed for you to provide your baby with the emotional and nutritional benefits of breastfeeding.
Each new baby is guaranteed insurance coverage for breastfeeding, lactation consult services under the Affordable Care Act. Just as your insurance is required to cover a breast pump, they are required to cover any costs associated with lactation services for up to six 30 minute consults. LCP will collect your insurance information to bill your insurance company for consult services, but you should never get a bill from us.
